2008年7月毕业于中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所环境科学专业，获理学博士学位，同年进入中国科学院地球环境研究所博士后流动站，2010年10月出站并留所工作，2011年1月晋升为副研究员，2017年晋升为研究员。近年来，主要从事黄土高原及周边沙地近代生态环境的演变、陆地表层碳循环、生态退化及恢复等方面的研究。
